International Lead Poisoning Prevention Week

October 22-28, 2023

In preparation for International Lead Poisoning Prevention Week, Pure Earth will host the virtual launch of its exciting new program designed to combat childhood lead poisoning in five pioneering countries.

Program leaders in the five participating countries – Colombia, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, Maharashtra, India, and Peru – will discuss this collaboration with ministries of health to strengthen each country’s national healthcare system to better prevent, identify, and treat lead poisoning.

The webinar will be moderated by Alicia Ogawa, Pure Earth Board Member. The webinar will include a brief video overview followed by a panel discussion, and audience Q&A.
